CHARLES RIVER APPAREL – Retail brand and industry branded fun, outerwear apparel company.

(Jan. 2018 to Feb. 2019) SE Regional Sales Manager and GA Territory Sales Rep

Performed a duel role as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager, and Sales Rep in GA and FL.  My overall sales territory is up 15%, with corporate sales up over 60%.

BOXERCRAFT  – (Aug. 2017 to Dec. 2017) Branded, well-known collegiate and resort apparel line with youthful, trendy styles.

VP of Sales – Wholesale Division

After being convinced by the CEO of Boxercraft, I left my previous position to manage a $25MM division, 40 independent sales reps, 2 Regional Sales Managers and a National Account Manager, reporting directly to the CEO.  I was responsible for our Wholesale Division and introducing Boxercraft to the promotional products industry. I worked closely with our Supply Chain and Merchandisers to create an appropriate apparel line for corporate wear that appeals to the millennial generation. I also developed new business opportunities by establishing preferred supplier partnerships with national and large accounts.  I facilitated the sales of large end-user programs with our partners for Aflac, Aaron’s, Coca-Cola, Kroger, NPR, and others.

Southeastern Regional Sales Manager and Georgia Territory Rep

After 18 years with Cutter & Buck, and sensing business model practice changes at Cutter & Buck, it was time for me to move on to another opportunity, in which I landed a management role at Vantage.

I managed the SE region of 3 sales reps, while representing Vantage in my own territory. Due to my strong relationships within my territory, we experienced a sales increase of 85% in 6 months.

 

 

 

CUTTER & BUCK – Seattle WA 1997 (1997 – 2016) Branded golf apparel

Independent Corporate Sales Representative, Georgia Territory

As a corporate sales rep in my territory the entire 19 years of my tenure at Cutter & Buck, my responsibility was to make training calls to the promotional product distributor’s sale staff to drive brand awareness to corporate end-users.  I also developed a customer training manual for the entire sales team.  Cutter & Buck consider me a “whale hunter”, as I brought in massive orders for Coca-Cola, Aflac, Delta Airlines and many others.  My sales grew from a $700k business to $4.2MM.

Southeastern Regional Sales Manager (from 2000 to 2008) – this position was a dual role, selling into my own territory and managing a team of 6 reps and $20MM in sales.

I was responsible for the hiring and training of new hires, facilitating team sales meetings and conference calls. My role was to support customer relationships and business development, along with discounting and margin maintenance.   I acted as the team liaison between sales, management, customer service, production and marketing.   I enjoyed contributing to new product development, marketing materials and sales meeting planning. My career at Cutter & Buck was the “career of a lifetime”.  I was incredibly well rewarded financially and with the relationships I built with co-workers and customers.
