PromoPlacement was founded in 2014 by two promotional products industry veterans. We were motivated by a strong entrepreneurial drive and the belief that there was a better way to help job seekers find job openings and hiring firms to find employees. After some study and analysis, we went with our intuition and began building the only recruiting and placement firm that is exclusively focused on helping promotional products professionals as they travel through their careers.
For decades we watched the industry grapevine poorly serve both job seekers and hiring firms. This outdated network had to be replaced with a transformational enterprise that organized information, shared it efficiently, and created a win-win dynamic for employers and employees. We were up for the task and PromoPlacement was born.
The foundation of PromoPlacement consists of three guiding principles.
- Our work must serve the industry we love and that had rewarded us for many years as distributorship owners, executives, and top sales reps.
- We would never charge a job seeker for placement, guidance, or advice. We would become a source of industry knowledge.
- Our success would depend upon our reputation. We would only be as good as our last placement, our last call providing advice, business guidance, or client staffing recommendation.
Since 2014, we have adhered to our guiding principles while we honed our craft and fleshed out complementary services to better serve the industry.
In 2018 we created the Career Hub. This resource brings together all promo industry career websites in one place. In 2019, we introduced our most popular blog series on the annual “State of the Promotional Products Talent Market” to share our knowledge and insights with the promo industry. In 2020, we acquired PromoGigs, the leading promo job board and resume board in the promotional products industry. PromoGigs allows job seekers and hiring firms to post resumes and jobs for the entire industry to see. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have turned our efforts to helping the unemployed with resume advice, job search techniques, and interview coaching to help those looking to secure employment.
Today, our management team boasts over 75 years of high-level experience in the promotional products industry. Like you, we have no idea what the future of the promotional products industry will hold. However, with partnerships like ghostwriting, which provides assistance in academic writing, we’re 100% dedicated to growing our business and strengthening our ability to serve the industry that we love.

Our process starts off with an in-depth conversation with potential partners. We take the time to learn about the needs of your business and what you wish to accomplish with your new hire. Once we understand your needs, we utilize our industry connections and a 60,000 candidate database to identify the top candidates for your position.
You’ll be presented with only the strongest candidates. Once presented, we consult with your hiring team on interview strategies, competency benchmarks, and compensation ranges. You won’t get just an introduction to the best and brightest candidates. We guide you through a proven process that will get the right candidate onto your team.
